16th Annual NISSAN Taste of Music City TOMORROW!

NASHVILLE, TN – The NISSAN Taste of Music City is gearing up for its 16th annual event benefitting the Randy Rayburn Culinary School of Arts as part of the Nashville State Community College Foundation.  We have an all new look, concept and time. This year’s all-inclusive event will take place at Public Square Park, TOMORROW, Saturday, June 16, 2018.  The event will take place during our new time:  6 -10 PM with a “Tour of Nashville” theme. Join us and tour Nashville’s culinary neighborhoods, all in one place! Local music, food and beverage samples will all be available from some of Nashville’s best local restaurants, distilleries and breweries.

Springer Mountain Farms will be returning as the Presenting Sponsor to provide a one-of-a-kind food tasting experience. They have handpicked local chefs to be featured prior to the event, and during the event.  The chefs will be conducting cooking demonstrations throughout the event for attendees to watch, learn, and sample. The following Chefs will be present at this year’s festival: Edgar Pendley – Haute Iron Co, Trey Cioccia –The Farm House & The Black Rabbit, Bill & Tony Darsinos – Greko, Will Gray- The Honeysuckle, and Larry Carlile- Hemingways.

A limited number of tickets are available at TasteOfMusicCity.com for $59 (plus tax) or at the gates for $69 (plus tax) if not sold out. Our VIP guests will enter the event an hour ahead of General Admission attendees, and experience and intimate food preparation demonstration conducted by one of our Springer Mountain Farms featured chefs.

New this year to the festival is the Local Table Farmer’s Market.

The Nissan Taste of Music City has partnered with The Local Table to featured 7 local businesses that feature home-grown/ homemade goods. The products will be available for purchase. Featured in the Farmer’s Market will be: Noble Springs Dairy, Tennessee Artisan Honey, Trazo Mead, Reggie’s Veggies, Wedge oak Farm, and Slocal.

The Nissan Taste of Music City is proud to raise funds and awareness for The Randy Rayburn School of Culinary Arts and The Nashville State Community College Foundation. The 501(c)(3), non-profit organization is dedicated to ensuring resources are available to meet the needs of the students. The Randy Rayburn Foundation helps students with a culinary dream to become culinary professionals and develop skills to run a successful kitchen from the necessary cooking techniques to the business side of the restaurant industry.
