The Battle of Franklin Trust Announces Exclusive Civil War History Tour

Carnton to offer “Franklin, Confederate Monuments and Our War” on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Battle of Franklin Trust is adding exclusive tours of Carnton, titled “Franklin, Confederate Monuments and Our War.” The tour will be offered twice and led by Eric A. Jacobson, CEO of The Battle of Franklin Trust.

Tours will resemble the classic guided tours but will focus on the events of late 1864 and how Americans grapple with the memory of the Civil War.

Exclusive tour dates include:

Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 – 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Carnton

Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 – 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Carnton

Each attendee will also receive a free admission ticket for a classic house tour of Carnton.
