BGA Open House

Battle Ground Academy, Williamson County’s oldest independent school, is hosting an admissions open house event on Sunday, December 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. at its Glen Echo campus located at 336 Ernest Rice Lane off of the Mack Hatcher Bypass. The event is open to families with children who will be in kindergarten through 12th grade in the 2012-2013 school year.

At the open house, prospective families will meet BGA teachers and current students and parents and learn more about the value of a BGA education. There will be tours of classrooms, the new state-of-the-art Mary Campbell Visual Arts Center and other facilities. A shuttle bus will be provided to BGA’s nearby Lower School.

“Whether a student enters BGA in the Lower School, Middle School or Upper School, they and their family immediately become a part of a welcoming community that maintains the highest standards for academics, character development, and sports and extracurricular activities,” said John Griffith, BGA head of school. “Our open house offers interested families a pressure-free opportunity to learn more about what sets BGA apart.”

For more information on BGA’s open house, contact Cathy Irwin, director of admissions, at 615-567-9014 or cathy.irwin@mybga.org.
