Bootcamp Joins List of Fitness Classes

Franklin Rec Center offers new, varied options

Williamson County Parks and Recreation announces exciting new additions and changes to the schedule of 80 weekly group fitness classes at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.

Chisel & Sculpt has joined the schedule on Mondays at 4:00 p.m. (Instructor: Robin Lane) and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. (Instructor: Teresa Mascolo).  This is a multi-level class for anyone who wants to develop muscular strength and endurance. All levels are welcome!

Tuesday Cardio Boot Camp with instructor Hilary Larson is a high intensity cardio class utilizing a variety of equipment and sports conditioning skills. Class meets 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

On Wednesday evenings, Teresa Mascolo raises the bar in Iron Bodies from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.  The class uses iron grip strength equipment to improve muscular strength.

New to the schedule is Boot Camp with Bruce Gust on Thursday mornings at 5:15 a.m. This high intensity class implements body weight exercises, calisthenics, agility drills, obstacle courses and running using military training techniques.
