Curb Recording Artist, Jo De Messina will be the Grand Marshall of the Kiwanis Christmas Parade of Franklin, TN

This yearly tradition, given to the residents of Williamson County TN by Kiwanis of Cool Springs/Williamson County, is scheduled for December 3, 2011 inFranklin, TN. The Parade begins at 2:00pm, with participants getting into final positions at 1:45.   The parade runs from Jim Warren Park continues through downtown Franklin returning to Jim Warren Park. All those interested must register no later then Friday, November 28, 2011.  The experience for many in Unmistakable, so it only makes sense that Jo Dee Messina is our Grand Marshall.

With the release of “Unmistakable: Love,” Jo Dee Messina steps firmly into the front ranks of country singers with staying power. Unmistakable is the next chapter in a career that has brought the Massachusetts-born singer to the heights of the genre she has loved since she was a little girl. She has sold over five million albums, had nine #1 singles, earned two Grammy nominations in addition to awards by the CMA and ACM.

For Jo Dee, it’s now about balance and living life to the fullest. “I’m a work in process,” she says. “I am constantly learning. I’m constantly growing. You’re always evolving and it never ends. You’re never, ‘OK. I’m done. I’ve figured it all out.’ She went on to say,  ”In the midst

So come out and see Jo Dee Messina at the Christmas Parade here in Franklin, TN .The parade, which last year had more then 1200 participants marching in front of more the 20,000 spectators runs from Jim Warren Park and  continues through downtown Franklin returning to Jim Warren Park. All those interested in participating in the parade should register no later than Friday, November 28, 2011.

This year’s theme is A Christmas Wish.   If you or your organization is interested in participating you must provide the following information to Kiwanis of Cool Springs/Williamson County no later then November 26, 2011. If you are a business/commercial participant you will need to also send along a $25 entry fee to Cool Springs Kiwanis, P.O. Box 680353, Franklin, TN 37068-0353

  1. Is the parade on Dec. 1st? And if so, is it always on the first Saturday of December? Does it begin at 2:00 again this year?
