CLASSES OFFER FUN AT THE FAIRVIEW RECREATION COMPLEX

 

Young Rembrandts

The Young Rembrandts art program offers ongoing art classes for ages 5 to 13. This class meets every Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., through December 11 (can be joined in progress).  The next full session will be January 8-29. Students will learn the bedrock drawing skills required for future artistic success.  Subjects include Fall leaves and cultural themes. Teen/Adult Pottery

Join the fun in an ongoing pottery class at the Fairview Recreation Complex every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Instructor June Lusty teaches hand built and thrown techniques. No experience necessary.  There is a one-time $25 supply fee. Each class is $12. For ages 15 through adults. Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that is fun and suitable for all ages and capabilities.  Using fluid movements, Tai Chi promotes blood flow, increases flexibility and reduces joint pain.  Tai Chi is offered on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd.  Classes are two for $18.
