County’s GOP to host youth leadership workshop on Flag Day

The Williamson County Republican Party will be hosting a free youth leadership workshop on Flag Day, June 14, in the Community Room at the Williamson County Public Library in Franklin.

With less than a week from primaries across the country being complete, America is preparing for this summer’s national conventions for both major political parties, and now that high school and college students are out of school, the WCRP is taking time to connect with future leaders of the community and country and educate them on this election process.

“This is most definitely a historic election season, and it’s great to see our youth so interested in the 2016 elections,” said WCRP Chairman Julie Hannah. “It’s our duty as community leaders and as parents to offer opportunities for the youth to learn more and to become more engaged in the freedoms of campaigning and voting.”
