Crushing Cabin Fever

Crushing Cabin Fever

Is the cold weather this year giving your family a case of Cabin Fever? Then join the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department indoors at the Longview Recreation Center for “Crushing Cabin Fever”, a family scavenger hunt! The hunt is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 and is $4 per person. Your family will enjoy dinner from Sonic; then work together as a team while searching for hidden items located within the facility. A series of cleverly worded riddles will guide you to the hidden items. Points will be awarded for found items, and the family with the most points wins the Grand Prize!

This is a great low cost event that the whole family can participate in. Space is limited and reservations are first come first served. Registration is Monday, January 4 – Tuesday, January 19 or until full. The first 50 kids to register for this event will receive a free kid’s meal from Applebee’s. Payment must be made within 5 days of registration. Registration may be made in person or by speaking with a receptionist at (615)302-0971, ext. 10. No messages please. Sponsors include: Sonic, Applebees, Publix, Walmart and Blockbuster. The Longview Recreation Center is located at 2909 Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill. For more information, contact Darlene Monk, (615)302-0971, ext. 16.
