This Wednesday, April 11, Franklin Synergy Bank is holding a “Preview Show” for its

upcoming trip to Cuba.  Yes, you read that right … Cuba!

“It’s the trip of a lifetime,” says Sandy Green, Vice President at the bank and Pineapple Gold Director. “I never thought I’d have the opportunity to visit Cuba, and I certainly don’t think I’ll have the chance to do this again.”

Green, who heads up Franklin Synergy’s Travel Club, says that while the bank has sponsored a number of wonderful trips over the years, this trip is one of the most unique.

“Last October, we put together a cruise trip down the Rhine River, which started in Switzerland,” Green says. “We’ve done a New England cruise, from New York to Quebec, and we always do a Caribbean cruise. But the trip to Cuba in August is really remarkable. It truly is the trip of a lifetime.”

Those interested in learning more can attend the Preview Show at 10 a.m. on April 11 in the Williamson County Library on Columbia Avenue. Green will discuss the itinerary for the nine-day excursion, which starts in Miami and goes from Havana to Trinidad and back, from Aug. 16-24. Visitors will spend time in Las Terrazas region of Vinales, Cienfuegos, the Plaza Mayor, Playa Giron, Callejon de Hamel, and enjoy a special visit

to Hemmingway Farm.

“This is not the sort of thing you should wait until the last minute to sign up for,” Green advises. “We’ve already had several people send in their deposit checks, and we are receiving a lot of phone calls and e-mails inquiring about the trip. We’re taking all sign ups on a first-come, first-serve basis. So I encourage anyone who’s interested to get in touch soon. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”
