Dog Adoption

Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center (WCAC) is privileged to be part of Franklin’s Main Street Festival on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28, 2013. WCAC’s Mobile Adoption Center (MAC) will be a part of a large booth on Franklin’s town square provided by festival sponsors MARS Petcare and PEDIGREE®.

Animals in the care of WCAC have been receiving nutritious MARS Petcare food products as part of the PEDIGREE® Feeding Project, and healthy adoptable dogs looking for forever homes will be at the event. Adoption specialists and staff will be on hand. Dog adoptions are $65; adoptable dogs have been spayed or neutered and have received all immunizations.

The Franklin Main Street Festival is Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 from noon to 6 p.m.

In addition, the Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School, will be open for cat and dog adoptions. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org or at the center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
