June 13 Hands On History – Wednesday at Carter House 9:30-10:30am ($10):
Slave Life We will visit the slave quarter and discuss the basics of what a slave was, what work they did on a farm, and their role during the Civil War.

Hands-on History is for children 5-10yrs and reservations are required.

June 14 to 16 – Calicos and Cadets Summer Camp
Calicos and Cadets – A Battle of Franklin Trust Summer Camp.
Camp #1: June 14-16, 2012 from 9:30am to 2:30 pm daily.
Age: 8-12 yr old boys and girls.

This camp is for those interested in history and the the Civil War.
Those joining will experience reenactor demonstrations, make crafts and learn to drill like a real soldier.

$100 per child for non-members and $90 per child for members.
All materials needed are included in the registration cost.
Payment is due at time of registration.

You must register by June 1, 2012 for Camp #1.
