Mystery Trip – The Beatles

August 23, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - August 24, 2017 @ 9:30 pm

Mystery Trip – The Beatles 1962-1965 (the early years) – The Factory at Franklin – August 23 and August 24

Mystery Trip! The first of two nights at the Little Brick!

The first night celebrates the Beatles’ early years 1962-1965. Performed with the kind of detail and passion that only these accomplished musicians can bring to the party.

Gordon Kennedy (Grammy winning songwriter of “Change The World”), Rob Arthur (Peter Frampton’s bandleader), Charlie Morgan (longtime drummer for Elton John), Saul Zonana(veteran solo artist, Adrian Belew) and Adam Lester(Frampton’s guitarist) lovingly recreate the songs of the Beatles with expert musicianship and stunning vocals.

In three short years, the Beatles had stormed the world with such an immense amount of great songs – no one had every experienced this kind of phenomenon in popular music before nor since.

Full of youthful energy, the genius of their songwriting explodes through these first few years as they literally dominate the world, both musically and culturally. So many great songs…

On this night this all star line up will focus on the music of these early Beatle years!

Yeah…Yeah…Yeah!

Plus…Fan favorites from the later Beatles !

Mystery Trip – The second of two nights at the Little Brick.

This second night celebrates the Beatles’ later years 1966-1970.

Performed with the kind of detail and passion that only these accomplished musicians can bring to the party.

Gordon Kennedy (Grammy winning songwriter of “Change The World”), Rob Arthur (Peter Frampton’s bandleader), Charlie Morgan (longtime drummer for Elton John), Saul Zonana (Veteran solo artist, Adrian Belew) and Adam Lester(Frampton’s guitarist) lovingly recreate the songs of the Beatles with expert musicianship and stunning vocals.

Once the Beatles had stopped touring in 1965, they dedicated all of their energy to making stunning art in the recording studio. Beginning the evening with Revolver, Mystery Trip will take you on a psychedelic journey, recreating the sounds that the Beatles themselves, at that time, could not have replicated in a live setting. This material involved other sounds created by worldly instruments the Beatles were experimenting with, and by breaking new barriers with the possibilities of what a recording studio can do. Geniuses with a purpose. To hear these songs played live is remarkable.

“Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream” (and don’t miss this evening)!
