Handbags

Handbags can be difficult to pick out because it is (nearly?) impossible to find a bag that goes with every outfit, for every occasion. This season is no exception but there are a multitude of great options out there. If you are in the market for a new handbag, check out these suggestions, for some great bags to incorporate into your wardrobe.

Whether you want to spend $15 or $1500, these styles are out there and ready to carry whatever you need, wherever you go.

Shoulder Bags

For everyday or times when you really want your handbag to make a statement, a big purse is essential. Many purses are still big but have shorter handles, which creates an alternative look. Also, while there are still tgreat slouchy bags in stores, we are also seeing a lot more structured purses.

Steer away from shiny metallic bags and invest in deep brown and mustard hues. Leather is a classic option and blends perfectly with any wardrobe. Metal key fob detailing and chains add an edgy feel to solid bags.

Clutches

If you haven’t realized this by now… clutches are clutch. Granted some rant that they force you to carry the bare essentials but you may be surprised by the storage capacity of some clutches today.

The super long shape is being spotted in stores. Long shapes are noticeably trendy, fit perfectly under the arm and can hold everything you need. Envelope-style clutches are a more casual trend and they are easy to tote around town.

As far as fabric, choose bright colored satin clutches to spice up black cocktail dresses. Bright, jeweled tone colors such as turquoise, hot pink and purple also add spice to jeans and solid colored tops. Python clutches are another popular clutch fabric. The grays and browns of textured python bags are subdued enough to pair with any outfit but still create a very fashionable look.
