Fifty Forward

FiftyForward (formerly Senior Citizens, Inc.) enriches the lives of adults 50+ by providing pathways to health, well-being and lifelong learning.

For 53 years, we have been Middle Tennessee's premier agency serving older adults. Through our life enrichment programs we help seniors live fuller, more productive lives with a sense of dignity and self worth. At our centers, members participate in hundreds of educational and wellness programs.

Through our Living at Home program, we provide needed assistance to those wanting to keep living independently in their homes, and we offer exceptional volunteer opportunities for those interested in giving back to the community through RSVP/FLIP and Foster Grandparents programs. The Senior Center for the Arts provides training in the theater arts for all ages, along with performance opportunities through the Nashville Dinner Theatre.

Our FiftyForward Music for Seniors program utilizes the talents of Music City professional musicians who make a six-month commitment to perform and make friends with older adults at hi-rises or in private homes. Our FiftyForward Travel program gives older adults opportunities to travel at home and abroad on trips designed for their interests, abilities and resources.

Our monthly Forward Focus newspaper provides details about our programs, along with articles designed to help readers make more informed decisions about issues confronting them. The newspaper is distributed in Davidson and Williamson counties.
