Herald Reports

The Franklin Art Scene – the monthly art crawl showcasing local artisans in Williamson County – is offering patrons a taste of the travel experience on Friday, June 3, from 6-9 p.m.

Coordinated by the Downtown Franklin Association (DFA), guests of the free community event will receive a special Art Scene passport to be stamped at eight of the 29 art crawl locations located in and around downtown Franklin, including the Second South District, Bridge Street and Columbia Avenue. Those who make their way to eight locations and secure stamps at each can turn in their completed passport for the chance to win a $100 gift card to Gray’s on Main restaurant, plus two movie tickets to the Franklin Theatre.

In addition, the Franklin Art Scene is once again partnering with Williamson County Parks and Recreation to host the Kid’s CreArtivity Crawl and Parent’s Night Out event on Friday, June 3, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Available for children ages 4 and older, parents can enjoy the night out and enroll their kids in an exclusive art class at the Franklin Recreation Complex, where they will learn to draw, paint and color using various mediums.
