Saturday, December 9 at Timberland Park

Enjoy the beauty of winter with a guided hike at beautiful Timberland Park. Get away from the traffic and the hustle and bustle of busy stores at this picturesque getaway, just ten minutes from downtown Franklin. The 70+acre wooded park features an interpretive center with educational displays, hiking trails, an ADA accessible trail, picnic tables, and overlook and a butterfly garden.

The guided hike on Saturday, December 9 will begin at 9:00 a.m. Admission is free. The 1.5 mile trek will cross some uneven ground, so wear good shoes and bring water. The hike will last about 90 minutes, and is recommended for ages 6 through adults.

Timberland Park is located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, just south of the Highway 96 entrance and iconic bridge.
