FREE GUIDED HIKES IN MARCH

Timberland Park

Enjoy Spring weather with a guided hike at beautiful Timberland Park. Get away from the city at this picturesque getaway, just ten minutes from downtown Franklin, TN. The 70+acre wooded park features an interpretive center with educational displays, hiking trails, an ADA accessible trail, picnic tables, and overlook and a butterfly garden.

Two free guided hikes are scheduled for March. On Sunday, March 11, at noon, adult hikers are invited to a guided ‘park perimeter’ hike, activity #11517.   Then on Tuesday, March 20,  hikers of all ages can celebrate with a ‘first day of Spring’ hike on Timberland Park’s trail system starting at noon (activity #11518). Admission is free. These hikes will cross some uneven ground, so wear good shoes and bring water.

Timberland Park is located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, just south of the Highway 96 entrance and iconic bridge.
