Free Open House for Music, Movement & Voice Program

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce a free open house on Wednesday, January 21^st, for the Music, Movement & Voice program at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road. Designed for children 3 years to 11 years, Music, Movement and Voice teaches techniques that can be applied to many aspects of life as well as entertainment. Instructor Ricky Newman is a professional actress and studied voice under Lee Strasburg. Newman will demonstrate her teaching techniques during the open house, and answer questions. Open house attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a February program of expanded classes.

 

The Music, Movement and Voice Open house on January 21^st will be divided by age group. Ages 3 to 5 will meet from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; ages 6 to 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.; and ages 9 to 11 from 7:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To register for the open house, call the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road, 790-5719, ext. 10.
