Friends of Fairview Library used book sale coming Aug. 25-27

Bargains will overflow at the hugely popular Friends of Fairview Library semi-annual used book sale.

The book sale will be held at a new time this year – Thursday and Friday, Aug. 25-26, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Recreation Center located at 2714 Fairview Blvd. in Fairview.

The Friends of the Fairview Library are continuing to accept donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles to the library. Donations can be dropped off at the Fairview Branch of the Williamson County Library located at 2240 Fairview Blvd. Children’s books and westerns are always needed and welcome.

The Friends of the Fairview Library are also seeking new members. The book sale and other fundraising events are big projects and require many strong and willing hands. If you have a free hour or two, please call Julie Thomas at 615-799-8390 to volunteer your time to sort books, lift boxes, or be a helper at the sale. Annual dues are only $10.
