Delicious & Nutritious Summer Recipes:  2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13.  Do you like to cook or have a vegetable garden that is producing a bumper crop?  Join Patsy Watkins from UT/TSU Extension Services as she shares great recipes for using summer’s bounty.

Yes We Have Chess!  The Library now has monthly chess clubs for adults teens, and kids.  The new Adult Chess Clubwith Randy Balin will meet Wednesday, July 13, at 6 p.m. Teen Chess & Strategy Club participants will play chess and various strategy games at 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 16.  Junior Chess Club, for players 11 years and under, will meet at 3-4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16.  Mr. Jayson will be on hand to instruct junior players regardless of skill level.

V is for Villain:  3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19.  Everybody loves a hero. Or do they? From Voldemort to Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, villains are the new favorites.  Cate Hart and Rae Ann Parker will discuss how filmmakers and authors make us root for the bad guys.  Ages 12-18 are invited to join them in the Teen Room.
