Heritage Ball tasting sneak peek reveals a meal that won’t disappoint guests

If you are planning to attend the 2016 Heritage Ball in September, you are in for a real culinary treat.  The longest running black-tie event in Franklin, the Heritage Ball is celebrating its 43rd year in Williamson County.

The 2016 Heritage Ball chairs, Mayor Ken and Linda Moore, invited 10 guests to sample an amazing menu presented by Sargent’s Fine Catering last week in Franklin.

John Howard of Sargent’s and his team, Chef Jamie Watson, Sous Chef Natalie Keane and assistant Clay Weaver, put together a sampling of four courses including appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts to try along with wine pairings.  Leaving no stone unturned, there was even a vegetarian selection to try – a roasted portobello mushroom with roasted pepper and spinach and a warm goat cheese and fennel tomato fondue.
