Heritage Foundation Hosts 50th Anniversary Event on Sunday, Nov 12

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN will host its 50-year anniversary celebration event on Sunday, Nov. 12 at the Franklin Theatre. Two performances and receptions will be held, highlighting the organization’s rich history, along with the many preservation projects and events that it has championed.

The celebration will consist of a matinee and evening show, each proceeded by a reception held on Main Street. Guests can purchase tickets to either show and enjoy food by Red Pony Catering and music by the Music City Strings before entering the Franklin Theatre for a live performance and look at the organization’s past and future.

Matinee Show
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Reception on Main Street

3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Presentation of 50 years & Performance by Peter Mayer of Coral Reefer Band

Evening Show
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Reception on Main Street 
6:30 – Franklin Theatre Doors open
7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Presentation of 50 years & Performance by Peter Mayer of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band

Reception to be held on Main Street in front of the Franklin Theatre, 419 Main St., Franklin, TN.

The Heritage Foundation will celebrate its years in Williamson County with an exceptional retrospect on the history of the organization, the many beloved places saved and the larger than life characters in the community that made it happen. The performance will include a fast- paced interactive presentation, including a video package capturing our historians, preservationists and community leaders who share their passion for Williamson County. The evening will also consist of a look back at the annual Heritage Ball, as well as provide insight on the Heritage Classroom Program. The show will conclude with a captivating performance by Williamson County’s own Peter Mayer, lead guitarist of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band.
