Jokers & Jackpots deals out the cards under the Big Top

The 17th annual Jokers & Jackpots goes under the Big Top with performing circus characters compliments of Expression City.

A juggler, a stilt walker, a cyr wheel walker, a contortionist and a magician will interact with seersucker-clad, casino night guests and gamblers. Who knows, they may bring some luck.

The annual event, which benefits Bridges Domestic Violence Center, will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin. It includes food, adult beverages, a silent and live auction and a good time. Tickets are $90 per person, $175 per couple and $900 for a table of 10.

Since 1998 Bridges has been changing lives by making life free from domestic violence possible by offering more than just shelter. It provides case management, counseling services, child advocacy and court advocate services, support group and outreach services for men, women and children caught in a domestic violence situation.
