FRANKLIN
Franklin on the Fourth
Franklin on the Fourth will be July 4 from 11 AM-10 PM at Main Street/ Public Square in downtown Franklin. This will be a day jam packed with activities. There will be a children's area, free live entertainment, craft vendors, and fireworks the event offers fun activities for all ages.
Franklin on the Fourth Kid's Area
The Kid's Area will be situated on Third Avenue in front of the City Hall extends to the Fifth Third Bank quadrant of the Square. There will be inflatables, rock climbing wall, bungee jump, petting zoo, pony rides, and more. There will be 3 stages for live entertainment. The Main Stage lineup includes: On Call, Cheetah Palomina, Don Winters & Scott Rath, Jessica Miller Band. The Grassland Heights Baptist Church will sing our National Anthem and other Patriotic numbers will start at 5 PM, followed by Franklin's own Fletcher and then the headliner KingBilly.
The Five Points Stage will run from 12 PM to 5 PM. The line up includes Soulfaye, Jim & Don, KimMystry, and James & Powell. The Singer/ Songwriter stage on Fourth Avenue will feature local signer/songwriters and will run from 12 PM until 5 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets.
Franklin on the Fourth Fireworks
The fireworks start at 9:30 PM, but are not readily visible from most locations on the square. The city of Franklin will open the Park at Harlinsdale Farm for three hours on July 4 for premium viewing of fireworks. Cars may enter the Park at Harlinsdale Farm at 7:30 PM at the north entrance.
BRENTWOOD
Summer Concert and Fireworks
Summer Concert Series at Eddy Arnold series will feature a fireworks celebration with the band The Kadalliacs. It starts at 7 PM at Crockett Park. The address is 1800 Volunteer Parkway, Brentwood TN 37027.For more information call 371-0060.
SPRING HILL
4th of July Parade
Spring Hill will be hosting their annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday July 3rd. The line up for the parade starts at 8 AM and will end at 8:45 AM. The parade will begin at 9 AM. It will start at the post office and end at Evans Park.
Decorate your child's bike, tricycle or other vehicle with patriotic decorations. Flags will be passed out during line-up. Refreshments and ice cream will be served at the park. This will be a fun family affair!
NASHVILLE
2010 Music City July 4th Fireworks Spectacular: Let Freedom Sing
The Nashville Fourth of July celebration in Nashville is ranked as one of the best firework displays in the nation and draws well over 100,000 to Riverfront Park. Over the last several years it has been just as spectacular and this year will be nothing less than an incredible evening of free entertainment, fun, and fireworks.
The all-day event kicks off at noon with the opening of the Family Zone including a variety a variety of food vendors. It will be followed by a Pre-show live music that takes place on the riverfront at starting at 1 PM. The official two-hour concert kicks off at 7:00 PM with the National Anthem performed by Ayla Brown, followed by musical performances along with the Grammy- nominated Nashville Symphony. Performers include Trace Adkins, Barry Scott, Jaci Velasquez, and Julianne Hough. The thrilling fireworks display, begins normally at 9:30 PM and features the Nashville Symphony in live performances of patriotic and classical favorites.
General Jackson's Silver Anniversary Celebration

One of Nashville's most recognizable icons, the General Jackson Showboat was launched 25 years ago and is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. On Friday, July 2, 2010, there will be great deals and fun to commemorate their anniversary including a Free Riverfront Park Concert featuring country heartthrob Chuck Wicks, a spectacular fireworks show, $8 excursion cruises, and more.
Hot Chicken Festival
The annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival celebrates an original Nashville culinary tradition - hot chicken! This free event boasts the unique southern flare of local restaruants, amateur cooking competition, inflatables for the kids, the Yazoo Brewery beer garden, and legendary Nashville music.
The first 500 people will be treated to free hot chicken samples from Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, The Chicken Shack, 400 Degrees, and Bolton’s Spicy Chicken & Fish. After the free bird is gone, you can head over to the food garden and purchase some tasty hot chicken. Nashville Sounds Game
What could be more patriotic than baseball and hotdogs? Start celebrating the 4th early this year with the Nashville Sounds’ home game Saturday July 3 against the New Orleans Zephyrs. The game starts at 6:35 PM at Greer Stadium. Afterwards, there will be a spectatuclar fireworkds show
Red, White, and Zoo at the Nashville Zoo
Kick off your Fourth of July celebrations a day early at the Nashville Zoo! The day is filled with a variety of contests and activities such as inflatables, a pie-eating contest, and face painting. The event is open with the price of admission, and a few activities have additional fees. Celebration activities are from 11 AM to 4 PM.
