This weekend Williamson County is buzzing with fun activities for children and families.  From a petting zoo, pumpkins, hayrides and more check out the list below and have a great weekend!

9AM-11AM behind the Factory at Franklin

Bring the kids and let them experience the shine of the tuba, the steel of the flute, the bounce of the timpani and the ring of the triangle. This is an awesome opportunity from 9-11 am in the Franklin Farmer’s Market’s Children’s Garden.

Open Weekends September 27 – October 26, 2008.
Saturdays 9AM- 5PM
Sundays 1PM – 5PM

Activity Area $6 per person (Ages 2 – 65)  Pumpkins extra.  Last Hayride at 4:30p.m.  Activity area admission is $6 per person – ages 2-65 (pumpkins extra).  Activity Area includes:  Four acre cornfield maze (allow 15 minutes), inside maze, hayrides, nature trail, grain trough barn, hands-on barn, tire swings, log cabin, concession stands, port-a-jons, chickens, goats, cows and more.  Pick-your-own pumpkins (while they last).  Operated by Fourth Avenue Church of Christ youth group, all proceeds go to Youth Missions Fund.  Click here to learn more!

TACA Fall Craft Fair at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN

The TACA Fall Crafts Fair is the state’s premier outdoor showcase for American fine craft artists. This popular event annually attracts over 45,000 people to view the works of more than 190 of the finest craftspeople from across the nation. A signature event at Nashville’s Centennial Park, held the last weekend in September, TACA’s Fall Fair offers shoppers the opportunity to meet and talk with exhibiting artists, eat and drink from an international food court, enjoy live music and children’s activities, visit special exhibits and demonstrations, and purchase a wide-variety of unique handcrafted works.
