Lifeguard Training

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer the season’s third and final lifeguard training courses April 6-20 at the Indoor Sports Complex (ISC), 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood and at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. The classes meet Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Registration begins Saturday, March 16, at noon at each class location. Participants must register in person. The course is $125, due at registration.

Participants must be 15 years of age on or before the final day of the course. A pre-course swim test will be given. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED (valid for two years). Sessions of lifeguard training will be also offered in April.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone may register for and participate in the department’s programs, teams, classes and events.
