LOCAL CHILDREN’S THEATRE GROUP PRESENTS THE MUSIC MAN
Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to present The Star Bright Players in Meredith Willson’s The Music Man. This six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy is family entertainment at its best. Performances will be Thursday through Saturday, November 29 through December 1 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Middle School, 750 Hwy. 96 West, Franklin, TN. The Star Bright Players are an award-winning Children’s Theatre Group sponsored by the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department. This popular theatre program encourages local children ages 7 to 17 to “take the stage, spread their wings and soar amongst the stars.” The Parks and Recreation Department produces two full scale musical productions a year and holds open auditions in February and September. The Music Man production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
