LOCAL GERMAN BIERHAUS CELEBRATES OKTOBERFEST BEGINNING SEPT. 26

Free bier every Friday at Bavarian Bierhaus during Oktoberfest celebration

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Bavarian Bierhaus has operated with the tagline “where it’s always Oktoberfest” since opening its doors last year, but the local German restaurant and beer hall is kicking celebrations into high gear with Oktoberfest festivities Sept. 26 – Oct. 26. The month-long celebration will offer food and drink specials, weekly German brewery features, Oktoberfest games, contests for Bavarian Bierhaus gift cards and retail gift baskets, and keg tappings with free bier every Friday for the month of Oktoberfest at 6:30 p.m.

“Oktoberfest is a beloved tradition of the Bavarian culture with international acclaim as the world’s largest beer festival,” said Bob Krumm, co-founder of Bavarian Bierhaus. “I lived in Germany for six years, and a good deal of that time was spent in Bavaria where I fell in love with the culture and of course this festive annual tradition. I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to my hometown of Nashville with some extra special celebrations and features at Bavarian Bierhaus during Oktoberfest.”

The Oktoberfest festivities will kick off at Bavarian Bierhaus on Wednesday, Sept. 26, and the first weekend will feature Munich’s beloved Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier, as well as a pretzel toss competition on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The month-long celebration will continue with additional German brewery features, authentic festival music and delicious food specials. To stay up-to-date on the latest Oktoberfest specials, connect with Bavarian Bierhaus on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
