Joe Barrett is my Hero

Big Barrett, a kind and gentle individual, pulled my dog Hunter, from the rushing water.
Risking life and limb, this hero of an individual, deserves recognition for his courage and caring.

Sincerely,
Ben Dover

Amazing Strangers
My 83-year-old parents live in Fieldstone Farms, on Glastonbury about 300 yards from the Harpeth. Late Sunday afternoon they and their 3 crated dogs were rescued by police in boats when the water was mailbox-high. They were ready to board a bus to go to a church when the Reagans noticed them.

This couple was driving around, checking out the damage. On the spot they decided to offer my parents - and the dogs - shelter for the night in their home in the Blackhorse section of FF.

Mr and Mrs Reagan, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. The Kilgore kids and grandkids are so very grateful to you. Thank you's also go to those police and all the emergency workers who have gone the distance and beyond.

Heroes all.
