Mercy Golf Classic
Mercy Community Healthcare’s annual Mercy Golf Classic, presented by the John W. and Barbara A. Dant Charitable Foundation, at Westhaven Golf Club tees off on April 7.
“It seems fitting that this year’s Mercy Golf Classic takes place at the start of the biggest week in golf – Master’s week,” said Tracie Dycus, Marketing and Events Coordinator at Mercy. “We hope to see both new and familiar faces on the course supporting our mission and taking a swing at their own Master’s week victory.”
The Mercy Golf Classic has become a highly anticipated annual event in the Franklin community. This year the event will be held at Westhaven Golf Club, which was named to GolfWeek and Golf Digest 2010 Best New Courses lists. The course is renowned for its natural setting in the hills of western Williamson County. Westhaven Golf Club is located at 4000 Golf Club Lane in Franklin.
The tournament, a four-person scramble, is $200 per player or $800 for a team of four. Registration is available online at www.mercytn.org.
On event day, sign-in and lunch will begin at 11 a.m., with the tournament starting at noon. An awards ceremony and dinner will be at 5 p.m. The event will also feature prizes for first and second place winners, longest drive, closest to the hole, putting contest and hole-in-one contest.
