Middle Tennessee Farm Honors Nashville Predators and Fans with Epic Predators-themed Corn Maze

Building on the ear-deafening enthusiasm generated across the state from the Nashville Predators run for the Stanley Cup Final, Lucky Ladd Farms in Rutherford County Tennessee has teamed up to create a Nashville Predators themed corn maze that they believe will have local hockey fans chanting.

The four-acre corn maze pays homage not only to the Nashville Predators, but also their die-hard fans, traditions and the lore that has helped transform Nashville into an undisputed hockey town in its’ own right. “Watching the games and the fans during the finals was electrifying. The sense of hometown pride and comradery really inspired us,” said farm owner and maze designer Amy Ladd. “In nine years, this was definitely my favorite corn maze we’ve created to date. It’s all there… a hockey player, Predators logo, the Nashville skyline, a shout-out to Cellblock 303, the Tri-Star, a hockey puck and of course we couldn’t forget the catfish!”

After reaching out this summer to the Preds for their official stamp of approval, Lucky Ladd’s team got busy finalizing maze details and worked with family friend Stanley Wise from Pontotoc Mississippi to cut miles of winding trails in their corn field using a GPS system for guidance. “The result is simply a-mazing,” Ladd added, “we couldn’t be more proud to share our larger-than-life tribute to the Nashville Predators with the world as a way to thank them for the awesome job they’ve done and the excitement they’ve brought to our town.” The maze’s grand opening is September 20, and weather permitting, will run Wednesdays-Sundays through October 29.

Inside the maze, guests will have the opportunity to play different games like the Corn Maze Challenge, where participants must find hidden markers throughout, and maze-goers can use printed maps for directional help. Those able to complete the Challenge can enter to win an iPad Mini. The winner will be randomly drawn and announced at the end of the season.

In addition to the maze, Lucky Ladd Farms offers a unique farm experience that is fun for all ages. Named one of the “Top Five” Best Pumpkin Patch events in the South by Southern Living Magazine; Lucky Ladd’s features nearly 60-acres of family-friendly activities including a petting zoo, pony rides, acres of playgrounds, mega slides, wagon rides, and a 70-foot jumping pad, plus new attractions are unveiled each year.
