RABIES & MICROCHIP CLINIC ON SATURDAY, MARCH 31

Williamson County Animal Center closed Friday & Sunday

Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) in Franklin will have its monthly public rabies and microchip clinic on Saturday, March 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the shelter, 106 Claude Yates Dr.

The public is invited to bring their cats or dogs for $10 rabies shots and $15 microchips. The rabies fee includes a one-year shot and a collar tag. The optional microchip protects your pet from loss for a lifetime. Chips are automatically registered to a database so pets can be reunited with owners when found. The clinic accepts cash and checks only; no credit or debit cards.

WCAC reminds the residents of Williamson County and the Middle Tennessee area to vaccinate their pets against the deadly rabies virus, as state law requires. Protecting pets from this fatal illness is safe, easy and effective.

In observance of Easter, Williamson County Animal Center will be closed Friday, March 30 and Sunday, April 1, 2018. On Saturday, March 31, the rabies/microchip clinic will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the shelter will also be open for regular adoption hours of 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Intake is closed on weekends, unless it is an emergency. The shelter is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School, and the phone number is (615) 790-5590. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org or follow us on Facebook.
