WORLD-CLASS ART EXHIBIT PROMISES TO BE ART EVENT OF THE YEAR

Rodin Sculptures Offered at Franklin’s Spectacular Bella Luce Estate

August 19, 2009 NASHVILLE, TN – September 9, 2009 promises to be the art event of the year. Rarely has such an incredible collection of sculptures been offered by legendary artist Auguste Rodin outside of New York or Chicago. Twenty-three posthumously cast original bronze sculptures from the Masters Edition Collection will be on display and offered for sale at Bella Luce, the breathtaking, 12,000-square-foot Franklin estate home built by Jimmy and Rhonda Franks.

A private gala event will be held September 9, 2009 from 6-9 pm featuring the Rodin sculptures and works by 19 additional acclaimed artists and sculptors. The home and exhibition will be open for public viewing September 10-13, 2009 from 11 am-6 pm daily. Tickets are $15 with proceeds benefiting New Hope Academy in Franklin, TN.

New Hope is an elementary school where children and families of all races, economic brackets and cultures learn, love and live together in an environment that extends acceptance, hope and an exceptional faith-based education to every child. New Hope Academy reserves 50 percent of its seats for low-income children and provides privately funded scholarships to those students.

“The exhibit features some of Rodin’s most famous works, such as The Age of Bronze and The Kiss. We believe that this is one of the most important and impressive exhibits of work by such major artists ever to be brought together for our local audience. This is a rare opportunity for private collectors,” says John Davis of Dragon Fine Arts, a fine-art consulting firm, who, in association with Twenty 21 Collections/Gallery Rodin, is producing the exhibition.

Davis approached custom homebuilder Jimmy Franks, who had just completed Bella Luce, a Tuscan Villa on 30 acres in Williamson County now on the market, about hosting the exhibit. “When we saw Bella Luce we knew it was a home run. Bella is magical, grand home, perfect for an exhibit of this magnitude.  We are thrilled to be able to have such a luxurious space in which to show these great works. The opportunity to use this exhibition to help students from low-income families at New Hope Academy get the education they need is a wonderful reward for all of our efforts.”
