SANTA TO VISIT PARKS AND REC FACILITIES

 

 

 

 

 

 

Williamson County Parks and Recreation has been notified by the North Pole that Santa Claus will make some December visits to some WCPR facilities prior to his Christmas Eve worldwide sleigh ride.

 

 

Monday, December 10: Snack with Santa, 10:00-11:00 a.m. – Timberland Park, Franklin, TN.

Kids age 4 and under can experience the wonder of a visit with Santa at picturesque Timberland Park, located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway in Franklin. Children will gather by the fireplace in the Timberland Interpretive Center for a story and snack with Santa. This is a free event, but on-line registration is required. Space is limited. Friday, December 14:  Movies & Cocoa with Santa, 5:30 p.m., Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Avenue, Franklin, TN.

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for a fun-filled evening of taking photos and cookie decorating while sipping some hot cocoa. Activities for the children will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the banquet hall. There will also be a letter writing station where children can make their wish list and hand deliver it to Santa. A children’s holiday movie will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Cost: $10 per child and $8 for each additional child. Online registration at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code: #13568.

 

 

 

 

Wednesday, December 19: Pictures with Santa & Winter Carnival, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd., Nolensville, TN.

Santa Claus will be at the Nolensville Recreation Center to visit children, hear their wish lists and take a commemorative picture. Photos will be printed on-site. Winter carnival games will be set-up in the gym for little ones to enjoy, including pin the tail on the reindeer, snowball bowling and so much more.
