Spring Break Camp

Spring Break Camp

Camp Idyllwild, voted one of Nashville’s best day camps by readers of Nashville Parent Magazine last year, will be offering Spring Break Camps during the weeks of March 15 – 19 and April 5 – 9, which correspond to Davidson and Williamson county school Spring Break schedules. Campers who attend Camp Idyllwild in the spring will have the unique opportunity to explore nature during this season of renewal, learn about the first signs of spring, discover deciduous tree blossoms, and assist in garden preparation and planting.

Camp Idyllwild is also planning to implement a new children’s wellness curriculum based on books by Lori Lite and her Stress Free Kids program designed to help children manage anxiety, stress and anger while promoting self esteem and peaceful sleep. To complement this new program we will also be offering yoga, taught by Tonya Jones, a certified yoga kids teacher, children’s yoga instructor, and teacher at the Farm School in Summertown, TN. Many activities offered in the summer such as hiking, fort building, tree climbing, rappelling, wall climbing, archery, arts and crafts, and more will also be available during spring break. Cooler weather will allow for additional games and fun activities.

In order to reduce paper waste and make enrollment more convenient, Camp Idyllwild is now offering online registration for all programs, including Spring Break Camp. Online registration is available now on their website www.campidyllwild.com.
