WEEK 1- JUNE 4-8 
 9am-12pm | Summer Artistiks with Sandy Kandros | Ages 9+ Description: Campers will work on educational enrichment art projects in various mediums, e.g painting, paper mache, drawing, etc.

 

1pm-4pm | Summer Artistiks with Tracy Givens | Ages 6-9 

Description: Campers will work on educational enrichment art projects in various mediums, e.g painting, paper mache, drawing, etc.

 

WEEK 2- June 11-15 

 

9am-12pm | Performance Art with Kay Kennedy | Ages 8-12 

Description: Theater, music and dance come together in a camp that will have your young performer ready to hit the stage! This is a beginner’s course for any child with an interest in combining movement with voice in inventive ways. Campers will learn to express themselves using basic acting techniques, simple rhythms, and choreographed motion. We’ll top off the week by presenting a short performance to our family and friends! 

1-4pm | Creative Art Journaling with Christina Haley | Ages 6-9 

Description: Build your own sketchbook and fill it with art, quotes, thoughts, song lyrics and sketches.  Express yourself with techniques like pen and ink drawing, watercolor, printmaking, and the lettering.
 

WEEK 3 – June 18-22 

9-12pm | Sculpture Art with Zandrea Diggs | Ages 8-12 

Description: Children will get their hands dirty carving clay, molding, painting, trimming and much more as they explore many different sculptural mediums! 
 

1- 4pm | Creative Art Journaling with Christina Haley | Ages 8-12

WEEK 4 – June 25-29

9-12pm | Exploring Sculptural Mediums with Zandrea Diggs | Ages 12+

Description: Clay, fibers, plaster, and cardboard are just a few of the materials artists will explore. Functional and fantasy art will stretch and satisfy a curious mind for a creative week this summer!
 

1-4pm  | Abstract Painting with Kay Kennedy | Ages 8-12 

Description: Join us for a week of action packed paint slinging fun! Campers will learn about the history of abstraction in painting, as well as the “action painting” movement that revolutionized the medium forever. We will be splashing, splattering and pouring paint on large canvases to discover beauty in the relationship between pure colors and forms
 

1-4pm  | REAL! TOO SURREAL! with Hol|y Errigo  | Ages 12+ 

Description: Students will learn several techniques to make drawing from real life images, as well as explore the dream world of Surrealist art through collage, painting, and even collaborating with other campers on some of the many different exciting activities planned for this camp!

 

Week 5 July 9-13

9-12pm | Miniature Monsters with Holly Errigo | Ages 8+

Description: Students will design and develop their own characters sketch and then sculpt their creation into a 3-D object using sculptural tools and techniques.
 

9-12pm | FILM CAMP with Women in Film and Television | Ages 12+ 

Description: Campers will conceptualize & create short films with a final viewing party on the BIG screen.

 

Week 6 July 16-20

1-4pm | All About Comics! with Holly Errigo Ages 12+

Description: Give your child more of what they love…..in this class students will learn cartooning techniques and storytelling. Students will gain valuable tips and practice by sketching, learning page layout and character design and development.

 

 Week 7 July 23-27 

9-12pm | Performance Art Camp with Kay Kennedy | Ages 12+

Description: Theater, music and dance come together in a camp that will have your young performer ready to hit the stage! This is a beginner’s course for any child with an interest in expressing themselves through movement and inventing sounds with their voice and unique objects. Campers will learn to express themselves using basic acting techniques, simple rhythms, and choreographed motion. We’ll top off the week by presenting a short performance to our family and friends! 

 

9-12pm | Fun Fabric! Textile Art! With Zandrea Diggs | Ages 8-12

Description: Explore the world of textile art by creating woven wall hangings, making wearable items, and much more. Campers will work with a wide variety of different media and techniques including fabrics, paints, dyes, fibers and yarn.
