Tickets for 2018 O’More Fashion Show on Sale Now at Franklin Theatre

O’More Fashion Show enters New Venue and New Era on Thursday, May 10, 2018

FRANKLIN, TN – Tickets for the 2018 O’More College Fashion Show are on sale now at the Franklin Theatre in downtown Franklin, TN. The show will be held at the historic venue on Thursday, May 10 at 8 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased online through the Franklin Theatre website or in person at the Franklin Theatre Box Office at 419 Main Street. Box Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday-Monday, Noon to 5 p.m. Tickets purchased in person will not incur service fees.

For more than two decades the O’More Fashion Show has been a launching pad for student designers and groundbreaking talent. Over the years the runway has served as a centerpiece for original designs that are cutting edge in terms of style and technical execution.

This year the show enters a new venue and a new era as it makes its only visit to the Franklin Theatre before O’More College merges with Belmont University.

“The O’More Fashion Show is a greatly-anticipated event that grows in stature every year and it’s all due to the creativity of the students who come through our Fashion Design program,” says O’More College president, Shari Fox. “Their talent, energy and passion are evident in every garment that appears on the runway.

“This year will be even more dramatic as the show moves to Main Street,” Fox says. “In fashion, just as in life, nothing stays the same. In that respect, there’s no better place to be than the Franklin Theatre as we honor our past and look toward the future.”

The show will feature the Collections of O’More’s senior class. It will also continue a longstanding tradition of collaborative efforts. Sophomores and juniors will present designs created with NaiaTM, a fiber engineered by Eastman Chemical Company, a Tennessee-based Fortune 500 enterprise. And the Show’s opening act, contemporary dance group New Dialect, will perform in costumes designed by O’More students.

Reserved seats are available in three fashion-forward categories: Haute Couture ($200.00), Avant Garde ($150.00) and Pret-a-Porter ($100.00). Proceeds will benefit new technology for the O’More Fashion Program. Patrons and sponsors will be treated to lite bites and sips, and will take home a special gift to commemorate the historic evening.
