“UNCORKED” WINE TASTING SERIES RETURNS TO PUCKETT’S BOAT HOUSE FOR A HOLIDAY-THEMED EVENING

“Sips Of The Season” Event Features Local Wine and Seasonal Flavors

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Puckett’s Boat House is celebrating the holiday season with its popular wine and food pairing event “Uncorked” on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The company’s brand sommelier, Jenn McCarthy, will walk through the wine selection process while guests enjoy carefully paired, chef-curated delectables for a night of fun and education.

“We’ve had an incredibly positive response to each Uncorked event this year, and we believe the ‘Sips of the Season’ session will be the perfect way to round out the series for 2018,” said Sally Mink, Director of Marketing for A. Marshall Hospitality. “Our team has planned an exceptional evening that will make everyone excited to kick off the fall and winter holidays.”

From the Cajun-infused lobster dish to the Thanksgiving-inspired turkey roulade, each course is perfectly matched with a wine from Love & Exile, out of East Nashville, to complement both the ingredients and the flavors of the holiday season. Guests will be able to bring the expertise they learn at Sips of the Season to their own holiday gatherings and events.

The Sips of the Season tasting menu includes the following pairings:

  • Deseao Chardonnay – New Orleans BBQ lobster w/ tarragon gastrique; beer bread crostini
  • Anonymous Sauvignon Blanc – Roasted beets w/ pistachio and coriander crust; pickled fennel, spiced goat cheese and prosecco infused-orange segments
  • Anonymous Pinot Noir – Turkey roulade stuffed w/ spinach, artichokes and smoked gouda; shiitake bacon, orange cherry marmalade
  • Heartless Cabernet – Seared lamb chops topped w/ mint gremolata; sweet potato croquettes

Tickets are $38 each and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets in advance, as the class has a limited number of seats.
