Veterans to be honored in Downtown Franklin
Special guests at this year’s ceremony include a color guard from Franklin’s adopted Delta Company, 1-327 Infantry, 101 Abn Div (AASLT) based at Ft. Campbell, Ky.
Other participants include the Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors Team, the Williamson County Community Band, The Tennessee Pipes Scots Band, The Preemptors Drum and Fife Corps, and representatives from American Legion Post 22 and 215.
Seating will be provided; however, it is limited and organizers advise folks to arrive early or bring a lawn chair to insure a seat. The program will last approximately 45-minutes and bottled water will be available free of charge.
This ceremony will be an opportunity to honor and remember Spec. Jason Eden, whose funeral procession passed through Five Points this month, as well as all veterans.
