Vets Adopt Pets
The shelter is now an official participant in the Vets Adopt Pets program which honors the service of active duty and military veterans by providing a fee waiver for pet adoptions.
Interested military personnel need to show proof of military status and meet the shelter’s adoption requirements.
For more information about Vets Adopt Pets, contact Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center at (615) 790-5590 or stop by the center at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org or at the center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
