WCAR Update

2011 was a huge year for WCAR.  We moved  into a new building, we conducted our first focus group  concentrating on our association’s future, gave away thousands of dollars in scholarships, hosted two national  speakers, and kicked-off a  new social event, Tailgate  Tuesdays. I have no doubt that 2012 will be an even bigger year for us as an association and for our  members.  The new Board of Directors and our  staff have spent time surveying and speaking  with members over the past several months  and we hope that we can be a benefit to your business into the new year. WCAR is focused on helping you in your  business in 2012 in several ways:

1. Communication: We are working on better communication with our membership . In 2012 we will be rolling out a new website that will be more user-friendly both for our members and the general public. Make sure that you are receiving the monthly newsletter and Monday Mailings to keep up with all the happenings inour local markets.
2. Education: In 2012 WCAR will again offer FREE classes for our members. Along  with those offerings we will have Top  Producer Panels, Workshop Sessions for  newer agents (Free), Best Practices Sessions for your business and national speakers. Our Education Committee and  staff have been busy in an effort to bring  you greater value for your education  experience.
3. RPAC Participation: In 2012 our members will know exactly what RPAC is doing for them. RPAC is important, especially in these volatile and uncertain  times. We need the power of one of the largest advocacy groups on Capitol Hill  fighting for Realtors, by Realtors. Your  new RPAC Committee is on a mission to keep you informed in 2012.
