WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAYER BREAKFAST

October 20th event moved to the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN, October 3, 2018 – Unite Williamson will host a prayer breakfast to be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9:00am to 10:30am at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park in Franklin, TN. Organizers of the inaugural event invite and encourage residents and inter-faith leaders from across the county to participate in this unifying event. The breakfast is expected to host hundreds of residents and representatives from churches, synagogues, mosques and temples across Williamson County.

“We have a tremendous opportunity to come together in prayer, create meaningful connections and make a commitment of unity to one another that will have a lasting impact for generations to come,” said Dr. Kenneth Hill PhD., Pastor, Shorter Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Following breakfast, the morning’s program will include a community choir comprised of children from across the county, along with a guest soloist. Williamson County mayors and local leaders from faith-based organizations will share words of encouragement and lead attendees in a moment of prayer. The keynote speaker for the breakfast will be Franklin Police Chief, Deb Faulkner, who will share her thoughts on the importance of a unified community.

“We are excited to extend this invitation to the Williamson County community,” offered Dr. Ken Moore, Founder and President of Unite Williamson Board of Governors. “Our hope is that those who attend this inaugural event will take the hope, unity and encouragement that this event generates back to their neighborhoods, businesses and communities.”

The event has been relocated to Eastern Flank Battlefield Park after heavy rains rendered the Harlinsdale Park site unusable.

Tickets to the breakfast are $5 and may be purchased on the organization’s website (www.unitewilliamson.com) or through the Unite Williamson Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pg/unitewilliamson/events/). The community is encouraged to buy tickets early as there is limited capacity for this year’s event.
