Williamson County Schools recognizes high school graduates entering military

Williamson County Schools honored students entering the military after graduation in a ceremony on May 4.

Superintendent Mike Looney commended these students for their dedication to serving their country. As a retired Marine, Looney told the future service members, “Our country exists because of people like you.”

“All that I can say is hold on, know that it’s going to be all right, work hard, say ‘Yes sir,’ and don’t take your cell phone,” Looney added.

Looney advised the future service members to stick together to know that they are doing something worthy and honorable.
