Women of Inspiration luncheon to honor three resilient women

The United Way of Williamson County’s Patricia Hart Society is hosting its annual Women of Inspiration luncheon on Friday, Feb. 5, at the Embassy Suites. Doors open at 11 a.m. to provide guests with ample time to bid on items in the silent auction.

Tickets for the luncheon are $50 per person and are available at www.uwwc.org or by contacting Debbie Rainey at 615-771-2312 or by email at drainey@uwwc.org.

During the luncheon, the three 2016 Women of Inspiration finalists will be introduced and their stories told.

Waves, Inc. and Mid-Cumberland HRA Meals on Wheels nominated Franklin resident Christy Webb. Webb has faced developmental challenges and experienced periods of upheaval, including homelessness, throughout her life. Since she found a supported living home at Waves, Webb has thrived. She found part-time employment at The Arc of Williamson County, joined Waves’ Franklin Day Program activities and outings and has become a valued volunteer at Mid-Cumberland Meals on Wheels.
