Constitution Week Ice Cream Social

Constitution Week Ice Cream Social

On Sunday September 15, Old Glory Chapter, the Williamson County Public Library (WCPL) and Old Glory, Daughters of the American Revolution are sponsoring Constitution Week Ice Cream Social to commemorate the 232nd Anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution.

Everyone is welcome to this free event.  It features children’s activities, musical performances, and Blue Bell ice cream.  The Ice Cream Social will take place at the Williamson County Public Library at 1314 Columbia Avenue in Franklin.  The Opening Ceremony is at 2 pm and conclude the bell ringing at 4:15.

Constitution Week has been celebrated annually since 1956.  This kickoff event is a great time to learn more about this important document and celebrate the freedoms it gave us.
