AR Workshop In Franklin, TN, A Favorite Local DIY Destination; New Store To Open In Nashville

AR Workshop in Franklin, TN Already a Favorite Local “DIY” Destination with Friends, For Parties & Private Events; New Store To Open This Spring In Nashville’s Wedgewood/Houston Neighborhood

2 February 2018 – Franklin, Tenn – AR Workshop, a do-it-yourself craft workshop, just opened in Franklin this past August and has turned itself into a must-visit hot spot to express your DIY design and styling in the Williamson County area. Offering a variety of classes that are open to the public as well as for birthday parties and private events, AR Workshop is a true hands-on experience and has something to offer for everyone. Endless craft options are available such as creating wood signs and centerpiece boxes, canvas pillows, wall hangings, framed signs, lazy-susans, totes and more.

According to The Tennessean, “AR Workshop Franklin, the newest trend in do-it-yourself craft workshop venues, is creating quite a buzz in Williamson County. The hands-on boutique studio and store…is quickly becoming a favorite destination for girls nights out, mother-daughter activities, date nights, corporate team-building events and more. AR Workshop visitors create their own handmade, mixed-media pieces… [and] participants use customized patterns and templates to create one of a kind pieces for their home or to give as gifts.”

AR Workshop Franklin is owned by Brandon Nunnally and Melissa Bowen. With a love of DIY and craft projects since she was a child and a hobby she shared with her mother, Nunnally moved to Nashville in 1998 and worked in the music industry, in special event production as well as healthcare management, yet from the moment Brandon discovered AR Workshop she knew her career path was about to change. Bowen moved here 14 years ago from Washington state,…. Their store has already been such a success in Williamson County in less than six months, that they have slated to open a new store in Nashville’s Wedgewood/Houston neighborhood this April. They are excited to now share AR Workshop with both the Franklin and Nashville communities.

ABOUT AR WORKSHOP: The brainchild of designers Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff, created Anders Ruff Custom Designs in 2010 as a small, mixed media boutique and blog offering unique graphic design, styling, and inspiration to lovers of handmade artistry. Before long, the combination of one-of-a-kind artworks, inspiring environment, and the owners’ own inescapable enthusiasm led the duo to come out from behind the screen to create a business model of hands-on workshops where attendees could learn these skills from the designers themselves. All Anders Ruff Workshops feature the same functional décor that each owner builds themselves. From the hammer chandelier to the paint bar, workshop tables and shelves, each boutique has a signature aqua-themed vibe with a lot of DIY handiwork. Since the AR Workshop® was born in the flagship location in Pineville, NC in 2016, more than 70 new stores have opened nationally. The franchise is rapidly expanding into communities across the country. Visit www.arworkshop.com for more information.
