ART SCENE AT COUNTY ENRICHMENT CENTER

Art class for kids, free yoga and local art display

During the Franklin Art Scene on Friday, February 2, the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., will offer an art class for kids from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a free yoga class from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and works by artists Jude Remedios and Mandy Miller.

Kids ages 5 to 11 will enjoy art games, cartooning and painting in the supervised class from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. while their parents enjoy a kid-free evening at the Art Scene.  The class fee is $20 per child, plus a $5 supply fee payable to the instructor. A $10 sibling discount can be given by contacting HannahI@williamson-tn.org. Please bring a peanut free snack to class. Children must pre-register online at www.wcparksandrec.com, using registration code #10665 in order to attend this class. Open to the public.

Adults are invited to join WCPR instructor Kim Cannon for a fun free yoga class from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the center. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat and water. This class is open to all ages and ability levels. This class is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This month’s art displays at the Enrichment Center will feature works by Jude Remedios and Mandy Miller.
