Brentwood Indoor Sports Complex

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of classes for adults and children at the Indoor Sports Complex, located at 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood. WCPRD is a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone can register for and participate in classes–no facility pass is required. Pre-registration is required for all classes (unless otherwise noted). For more information call 370-3471, ext. 10.
Adult Classes:
Water Aerobics
Class Fees: $3 for Youth/Adults and $2 for Seniors (55 and older)
Annual passes and punch cards do not cover class fees.
No registration required. January 4-29.
Tae Kwon Do
MPact Martial Arts
People of any age and physical condition may participate in this Martial Arts program. Instructor Eric Melton designed the class to bring the beginner into a high level of physical well being! The adult class is offered on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., January 4-25. Yoga
Body sculptor Carolyn Rudin teaches this yoga class centered around muscle stretching, toning and strengthening for people of all sizes, shapes and fitness levels that are in good general health. The program is offered on Tuesdays, January 5-26 (skip 1/12) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost for the three-week session is $36. POWER YOGA
Power Yoga combines a traditional yoga class with strength work. The use of a weighted bar is introduced into traditional yoga poses. This unique workout improves coordination, flexibility and strength. Power Yoga will meet Wednesdays, January 6-27 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The 4-week course is $48, plus a supply fee of $17 for a 4-pound short weighted bar. TAI CHI CHUAN
Tai Chi consists of fluid and well balanced movements continuous from beginning to end in endless circular patterns. It promotes deep breathing, circulation and the cultivation of internal energy called Chi’i. Tai Chi is for adults, and meets on Wednesdays, January 6-February 24,  from 6 p.m. to 7  p.m. at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood. ADVANCED TAI CHI CHUAN
Designed for adults experienced in Tai Chi. Help balance your work and personal growth through the practice of Tai Chi. Advanced Tai Chi meets on Wednesdays, January 6-February 24, at the Indoor Sports Complex, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The cost for the eight-week course is $80. Body Sculpting
Instructor Carolyn Rudin utilizes free weights and exercise bands to tone and sculpt, targeting all muscle groups. Sessions available on Thursdays, January 7-28 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ($48 for four-week session). ZUMBA
Combining hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing Latin dance moves, Zumba is a dynamic workout system designed to be fun and easy. Routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Come join the Zumba party! Zumba will meet on Fridays, January 8-29, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ($48 for four-week session). Call the Brentwood Indoor Sports Complex to register: 370-3471.
PIANO
Learn to play the piano for fun! Ken Krause teaches adults how to play piano. Learn to read sheet music and play by ear. Participants need to bring an electronic keyboard to class. For more information about purchasing keyboards, call Ken Krause at 370-3462. Adult piano will meet on Tuesdays, January 12-March 2, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The eight week course is $60. Each class is self-contained and you may join at any time for a pro-rated amount. Supply fee: $15 payable to instructor at first class. Tae Kwon Do
MPact Martial Arts
