BrightStone Aims to Fund Interactive Learning Technology During The Big Payback May 2nd

FRANKLIN, TN — BrightStone’s efforts towards The Big Payback this year will focus on providing essential resources for adults with special needs. Technology plays a major role in their growth and assessment. This year, BrightStone’s goal of $30,000 raised during the 24-hour period will fund new equipment, software, and training that will transform each of their classrooms and empower BrightStone teachers to open even more doors for BrightStone students.

Last year, your efforts through The Big Payback allowed BrightStone to complete the funding for their new bus. That impact is felt every single day as students can safely be transported to BrightStone and out into the community.

The Big Payback is a community-wide, 24-hour online giving challenge hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This charitable event will help area nonprofits raise much-needed dollars and bring awareness to pressing needs in our community.

In the past four years, The Big Payback has helped raise more than $9.3 million dollars for more than 1,000 local nonprofits – including schools and religious institutions. Participating organizations have received gifts from 18,806 NEW donors they may have not otherwise reached.

Each of your donations to BrightStone on May 2nd will go towards essential technology for students to use in BrightStone classrooms. Mark your calendar to participate in The Big Payback and donate to BrightStone on May 2nd!
