CampVandy

CampVandy, the Rec’s Summer day camp in Nashville, Tennessee includes active and recreational programming for campers of all ages. At CampVandy campers will learn new skills and stay fit. Campers climb the rock wall, swim in the pool, play field games, participate in fitness classes, make arts and crafts, bowl, play gym games, and much more! Each week has a theme on which the activities and special events are based. CampVandy day camp runs weekly from May to July and general camp hours are 9:00 AM-4:15 PM each day.

Vanderbilt Baseball Summer Camps

Vanderbilt University provides some of the finest youth and high school baseball camps in the country. Whether you are a young beginner just learning the game, a middle school player ready to take your game up a notch, or a high school player with aspirations of playing at the next level, Vanderbilt baseball has a camp to suit your needs.

Coach Corbin and his staff are present for all camps and take great pride in the quality of instruction, providing a 1-to-8 coach to camper ratio. All camps and clinics are high energy with great attention to detail and safety. This is a baseball opportunity that we feel confident will exceed your expectations. We look forward to seeing you on our campus!

Vanderbilt Football Camps

Vanderbilt Football is thrilled to host summer camps and cannot wait to show all that our campus and the city of Nashville have to offer!

Each camp is coached by members of the Vanderbilt Football staff and several of its current student-athletes. All campers are grouped according to age, position and skill level to maximize the instructional and developmental opportunities. Skills and competitions are based on each camper’s level of experience.

Vanderbilt Golf Camp

Vanderbilt Golf Camp is designed to accomplish two things: to have fun and become better golfers.

Campers will receive instruction from the Vanderbilt men’s and women’s golf coaches on basic golf fundamentals, skill and technique, course management, rules and etiquette. Campers will have the opportunity to apply what they learn at camp as they compete against each other in team competitions and one-on-one competitive golf situations.

Vanderbilt Lacrosse Camp

This camp is geared towards all Lacrosse skill range ages 12 -18. It will focus on skills, position play and team concepts with an overall intense level of competition. This camp is open to any and all entrants. (Limited only by number, age, grade, level and/or gender.)

The Vanderbilt Lacrosse Elite Camp offers a premier experience for players to take their game to the next level. Summer Elite Camp is held on the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt University in the heart of Nashville, TN.  Summer Elite Camp is open to Rising 8th Grade through 12th Grade. Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball Camps

Elite Camp

The Vanderbilt Elite Camp will focus on fundamental skill work through drills and stations. The camp will also have a competition component consisting of 5-on-5 games. Campers will have the opportunity to compete against other serious minded players. Players will be coached by Vanderbilt coaches and players. Check-in will begin at 1 p.m. on June 4. Junior Day Camp

The Junior Day Camp is the perfect experience for the beginning basketball player—a youth camp introducing basic basketball fundamentals and concepts through drills, competitions, and controlled game play. Campers will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players on the basketball team. Lunch will not be served, but a snack will be provided. Check-in will be June 5, from 8-9 a.m. at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9 a.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. Camp concludes each day at 12:00 p.m. Camp open to all genders. Kids Skills Camp  

Kids Skills Camp will focus on skill instruction and fundamental breakdowns in mornings followed by competitions and games in the afternoons. Campers will have 3 games a day at minimum, and will be coached by members of the Vanderbilt coaching staff and available players. Lunch will be provided each day. Check-in will be June 5 from 8-9 a.m., at Memorial Gym. Camp will begin each day at 9 a.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. Camp will conclude each day at 3:00 p.m. Camp open to all genders. Vanderbilt Soccer Camps

Vanderbilt Soccer Youth Summer Day Camps are designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment.  Players are given the unique opportunity to receive individual instruction from Vanderbilt Soccer’s coaching staff and players.  Each day is filled with a variety of activities to promote correct soccer technique including: small-sided games to encourage personal involvement and enhance the understanding of team concepts; technical and ball mastery skills sessions; shooting drills; group pool time and much more.

Elite Prospects ID Camp

This camp provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a competitive environment while receiving a high level of soccer training from the Vanderbilt Women’s Soccer coaching staff. The training schedule is designed to prepare players to compete at the college level. The curriculum includes individual instruction and full field 11 vs. 11 matches for a full personal evaluation. Housing and food are not provided for this camp.

Striker / Keeper Camp

This camp is open to rising 6th-12th grade boys and girls of all skill levels. Our striker/goalkeeper camp will allow players to improve their technical skills and tactical awareness in front of goal. Players will engage in a competitive yet fun training environment with a high level of coaching.

Striker Focuses – Shooting technique, placement shooting, 1v1s, finishing off a cross, heading, volleys, playing with your back to goal, near and far post runs, and much more.

Goalkeeper Focuses – Shot stopping, ball handling, driving technique, 1v1s, dealing with crosses, distribution, footwork, and much more.

Vanderbilt Tennis Camps

Camps are held on 10 outdoor courts and five indoor courts at the Currey Tennis Center: 1405 25th Ave. S., Nashville. Girls and boys between the ages of 7-18 are welcome to all weeks. Camp is for players of all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Campers will be grouped based on skill level.

Camp Highlights

  • Coaching fundamentals: stroke analysis, footwork, proper technique and grips, strategy.
  • Singles and doubles match play
  • Davis Cup style competition on Friday
  • Teaching aids such as ball machine and back board
  • Daily instruction and drills, individually and in small groups
  • Fun games that help development

USN Summer Camps

USN Summer Camps strive to provide families with the most dynamic and varied summer programming options for students K-12. The camps are open to the general public and run for 6 weeks, June – July.

Each camp session lasts for 1 week. All Day camps are from 8:00am – 4:00pm, AM camps are from 8:00am – 11:30am and PM camps are from 12:30pm – 4:00pm. USN Summer Camps also offers an AfterCare option following the afternoon and all-day camps.
